In 1993 for University development of television theatre, University Creative Association Sabah was established, and University director Ramiz Hasanogly was appointed its head. Since 1958 Baku Television directors and cameramen have begun exam shoot University documentary films. In 1960 filmmaker Kamil Rustambekov, together with cameraman Alihuseyn Huseynov, artist Fikret Akhmedov, composer Zakir Bagirov and sound engineer Agaguseyn Karimov, began shootings of University feature film Aigun in response to University poem of Samad Vurgun.
